DBO Expert’s System O)) wastewater treatment solutions was attributed the “Solar Impulse Efficient Solution” Label following an assessment performed by external independent experts and based on verified standards. It is thereby joining the #1000solutions challenge, an initiative by the Solar Impulse Foundation to select solutions that meet high standards in profitability and sustainability and present them to decision-makers to fast-track their implementation.
System O)) is an effective domestic wastewater treatment system combining Advanced Enviro))Septic technology and a bed of filter sand. The system has three functions: evenly distribute wastewater coming from the pre-treatment tank over the entire leaching bed; treat the effluent; and release treated water safely into the environment via infiltration into the soil. The strength of this product is in this triple action that mimics the way nature works. System O)) is the only wastewater treatment system that distributes, treats and infiltrates at the same time, and the Advanced Enviro))Septic technology has no moving parts, no electrical components, no maintenance and no filtering media change or sludge removal.
To receive the “Solar Impulse Efficient Solution” Label, System O)) was thoroughly assessed by a pool of independent experts according to five criteria covering the three main topics of Feasibility, Environmental and Profitability. All labelled solutions are part of the #1000solutions portfolio that will be presented to decision-makers in business and government by Bertrand Piccard, Chairman of the Solar Impulse Foundation. The aim of this initiative is to encourage the adoption of more ambitious environmental targets and fast-track the implementation of these solutions on a large scale.
