Main responsibilities  of the wastewater engineer

  • Take over commercial projects and quotes, from design to implementation;

  • Participate in developing the provincial markets in Canada by knowing the standards, laws, regulations and needs;

  • Contribute to water management R&D;

  • Take part in continuous improvement of equipment and technologies offered by DBO Expert;

  • Develop calculation tools and technical documentation that meets the needs of partners;

  • Complete preliminary calculations and design of wastewater treatment systems;

  • Produce and interpret AutoCAD plans;

  • Work with the technical field team as needed, as well as undertake their training;

  • Implement and apply quality control and assurance;

  • Help write technical documents (user guides, manufacturing guides, communication and marketing documents, etc.).

Required Profile

Technical profile

  • Hold an engineering degree in a field related to wastewater treatment, environment, hydrology or soils;

  • Have 2 years experience in wastewater treatment;

  • Knowledge of MS Office programs and AutoCAD;

  • Hold a valid class-5 driver’s license.

Human profile

  • Developpe analytical skills;
  • Versatile;
  • Able to work in a team;
  • Can explain complex ideas clearly and simply;
  • Mastery of French and English.
