Main responsibilities of the commercial and technological development engineer
The successful candidate will have two distinct but interconnected roles:
Commercial Development
Stay informed of commercial projects, grab opportunities and follow-up on them;
Present DBO Expert solutions to designers and regulators, understand their challenges;
Establish and develop relations with promoters and commercial projects;
Manage the relationship with sand pits and ensure respect of standards;
Technological Development:
Establish technological needs of the market with the assistance of the marketing department;
Assume oversight of new technology R&D projects, from initial steps to commercialisation;
Assume oversight of continuous improvement of equipment and technologies developed and distributed by DBO Expert;
Establish and manage relations with designers to among others identify their needs and improve the company’s service offering;
Collaborate in the development of the Canadian market;
- Support with on-site problem resolution.
Required Profile
Technical profile
Hold an engineering degree in a field related to wastewater treatment, environment, hydrology or soils;
Have 2 years experience in wastewater treatment;
Knowledge of MS Office programs and AutoCAD;
Registered with or eligible for registry with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
Knowledge of MS Office programs and Autocad.
